Prepare for a one-of-a-kind festival experience that’s far from the usual hustle and bustle. Leave behind the noisy crowds, lively chatter, and sun-kissed festival-goers in their ponchos. The Big Barn Dance began over 20 years ago in the unpredictable climate of the southern Rocky Mountains, so this event knows how to keep fans comfortable. Renowned for its unique concert hall-style seating nestled beneath a sprawling tent, enthusiasts of all genres can enjoy the performances of their favorite artists, sheltered from the elements. Honored as the “Best Festival” by the esteemed Ameripolitan Music Awards for its original event in Taos, NM, High Desert Entertainment proudly introduces this celebration to Texas for the very first time.

If you’re a fan of reveling in every note, this is the festival for you. The intimacy of the tent creates a space where a song can reverberate throughout the “room”, enrapturing the audience. There’s no other festival around that brings the atmosphere of a theater to an outdoor festival.

Can’t keep your dancin’ feet from moving during a good two-step tune? Not to worry! There’s also a covered, auxiliary dance floor open the entire weekend. But if you love to dance, just wait. Come Saturday, anticipation peaks as the festival crescendos into the legendary Big Barn Dance. With chairs removed, attendees unite upon a grand dance floor, twirling and two-stepping into the night’s embrace.
