Past Intern Praise

“Texas Lifestyle Magazine was my first internship in college and it helped me open my eyes to online magazine publications. I was an editorial intern and the number of opportunities and learning experiences is unique and amazing. I was able to write and publish articles throughout my internship and dive into the world of lifestyle journalism. The team is nothing short of amazing and helpful leading me to feel confident in my work I was putting out. In addition, everyone was very thoughtful and communicative when coming up with new ideas or helping out a partner. I will always greatly appreciate the TLM team and the experience gained during my internship.” –Hannah Glasgow

As a former intern for TLM, I know firsthand how important it is to get the most out of your internship. I was eager to start and work alongside everyone. My skills helped keep the transition going and I learned so much in the process, about teamwork and how much I loved being a part of this magazine.

When y’all approached me to be the new SM Manager, I jumped at the opportunity to take what I learned in my time as an intern and use it in my new role. Interning for TLM made my skills grow in more ways than I could’ve expected. I truly feel like I got the most out of my internship.” – Katt Noble, former digital intern turned Social Media Manager

“I joined Texas Lifestyle Magazine as a digital intern and I can already say it has been a great experience. I have learned so much about how to create content for articles that is engaging, creative, and fun! It has been a pleasure working with the team. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful, and we all really value communication which allows everyone’s voice and ideas to be heard. Through this internship, I have also learned so much about Texas. As an out-of-state student, I knew very little about the culture and travel opportunities Texas has, but now I feel I am immersed in the culture everyday through my involvement in TLM. I can’t wait to see where my internship will take me next! Thank you, TLM!” – Olivia Turner
