Are you ready for one of the most fun—and unique—5Ks for all ages, skill sets and wattages? Then join us for the fourth annual Saints and Sinners After Dark 5K in Hutto on Saturday, May 7th!
Whether you run like a bat outta hell or float along on angels’ wings, participants are encouraged to dress in neon colors and don as much glow-garb as possible.
The charity community event-race begins at sunset at the Hutto High Hippo Stadium where families and friends will gather for the NEON-glow. The route is 3.1 miles of Hutto-area roads illuminated by lights, glow towers, even a disco-tent, along with a DJ and inspirational live-music hot spots along the way.
20 percent of the profits will go directly to Breast Cancer Resource Center, (and their outreach programs in Williamson County.) Runners will have an extra bib to show who they are running/walking for at this year’s race.
The race is for runners of all abilities; with a Mutli Ability Spirit Sprint (M.A.S.S.) pre-race half track for anyone of any ability to sprint, dash, dance, walk, or wheel (for those in wheel chairs or strollers). You don’t have to be a runner to participate, this unique 5k is all about glow in the dark family fun. In fact, organizers encourage participants to run, walk, boogie, two step, or Gangnam style to the finish line. Register for the race here ….Ready, Set, GLOW!
