Spring has revved up, we are on the cusp of summer and the temperatures in Texas are rising—leaving you feeling hot, stuffy and ready for a change in your wardrobe.

As you prepare to shop for the season—your vacations, BBQs and events—style is essential and comfort is key.

Here’s a list of my favorite styles to keep you cool during those hot Texas months. All of these looks are breathable yet breathtaking. You can achieve style this season and beat the Texas heat.

For Date Night

Shop local and hit Tootsies for all your flowy dress needs. I love this Bohemian-inspired dress by Rixo London. Flowy dresses do not cling to the body and allow air to filter through leaving you refreshed and cool. Add a cute pair of strappy sandals to this look and you have a chic ensemble for a gala or night out.

For the Weekend

I adore a great throw-on dress to run errands in the heat. They circulate air and are oh-so-comfortable. Try this crisp and cool midi dress by Free People for an effortless go-to on the weekends. For Brunching

I love kimonos. They’re airy and they’re great for throwing over a tank or sleeveless dress, especially if you don’t want to reveal your arms. It is the perfect cool layering piece as they are sheer and lightweight. Wear this on-trend banana leaf kimono (found on shopbop) for brunch or even over a swimsuit as a cover up.

For Vacations

Jumpsuits are also on trend this season so make sure your wardrobe hosts one. They are great for throwing on yet still looking cute and put-together.
