Let’s explore the destination that wraps you into the magic of movie making, Burbank, California.
Burbank sits about 12 miles north of LAX, but the Burbank airport continues to add more direct flights to their offerings so make sure to check before booking your flight with the potential of avoiding LA traffic.
It only makes sense to stay where the stars lay their heads. Hotel Amarano is the ideal setting for any itinerary, whether you’re planning on biking around town and seeing all of the studios or if you desire to enjoy breakfast in bed and spend the day by the pool. Or both!
Hotel Amarano wins the casting call as the perfect Burbank stay due to its ideal location to local attractions such as Warner Bros Studio, Universal Studios, and Magnolia Park. Simply check out a bike from the front desk and cruise around tinseltown.
The pool is also a great perk, in a sweet little courtyard like a little oasis apart from the chaos of Hollywood.
FYC (For Your Consideration) Bar + Kitchen, just off the lobby, is where you can enjoy a delicious meal without having to leave the comfort of your abode hotel. Enjoy their craft cocktails, like In the Clouds, and some of their foodie favorites such as the Parmesan Shoestring Fries, The Quinoa & Kale Salad, and Shrimp Orecchiette.
All About Town
> The Warner Bros. Studio Tour: What’s better than riding around movie sets on a golf cart? Going behind the scenes of shows and movies, like Friends, gives you a greater appreciation of the movie industry as a whole and all the hard work that goes into producing even one episode of a show.
> Another short bike ride away from Hotel Amarano is Magnolia Park which is home to many fun coffee shops, restaurants, and vintage shops. This is a great spot for a shopping afternoon, especially “It’s a Wrap”, which sells clothing from your favorite shows and movies. You can look on the tags and see what show the item was in and then you can purchase it and wear it like the star you are!
Another Burbank staple is Bob’s Big Boy. This is an iconic Burbank diner and it very much gives the old Hollywood vibe. You can even sit in a booth that The Beatles ate at on their first U.S. tour. Indulge in a classic burger and shake at a true American landmark.
