On July 2, 2024, in the historic town of Grapevine, KISS frontmen Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons opened their third Rock & Brews Restaurant in Texas. 

Joining an estimated 169 restaurants in the premier entertainment destination of North Texas, Rock & Brews thunderstruck Grapevine’s booming culinary scene with a rollout of signature dishes, stellar drinks, nostalgic music and classic rock ‘n’ roll vibes.  

Redefining the Dining Experience

Located at 520 W State Hwy 114, Rock & Brews Grapevine’s easily accessible location is just minutes from Grapevine’s historic main street. And with their signature store-front guitar pointed high to the heavens, the restaurant beckons all who rock to enter for a godly food and drink experience.

As you enter, you’re quickly plunged into a 360-degree rock ‘n’ roll dining realm with 9,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor seating areas. And Rock & Brews wastes no space, delivering the devil in every detail to celebrate not only the coolest music genre there is but the very essence of American-made ingenuity. From Amish farm-produced beams on the front merchandise cabinet and cladding from a Kentucky Thoroughbred Barn to the reclaimed wood tables and a soon-to-be renowned bar top crafted from the actual floor of the Chrysler Automotive Plant in Ohio—where WWII-era Jeeps were once made—Rock and Brews effortlessly salutes those who came before us with a warm wood-toned nod to past.

A Musical Feast for Your Ears

Rock & Brews Grapevine also pairs psychedelic rock art at every turn with an endless loop of music videos displayed on 75” TV screens and concert style lighting to create an ambiance reminiscent of your favorite live band. Building off that momentum, the restaurant also features live music two times a week from some of DFW’s best local musicians. Tune in on Wednesdays from 5-8 p.m. or Fridays from 8–11 p.m. for a myriad of local acts. In fact, opening night featured Texas Flood with a series of fresh and local talent to follow.

Main Stage Worthy Meals

Not to be outdone by the restaurant’s rock star ambiance and electric live music, Rock & Brews Grapevine’s killer culinary options steal the show with a menu full of fresh, locally sourced ingredients and a devilish take on American food classics. Opening acts like SGT. Pepper’s Handcrafted Jalapeño Poppers or the BBQ Nachos complete with seasoned corn tortilla chips, chile con queso, Monterey jack and cheddar cheese, and your choice of Memphis BBQ pulled pork or grilled chicken are fan favorite hits.

After starters, heavy hitters like craft burgers, chicken sandwiches, pastas and pizzas offer gut-busting delights. Try the signature R&B Special Pizza that features house tomato sauce, mozzarella and parmigiano, meatballs, spicy pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, red onions and black olives. Or, for those bold enough to ride a crazy train of flavor, indulge in the Alice Cooper’s Poison Burger. This brazen burger features a patty smothered with pepper cheese spread, reaper ranch, fresh fried jalapeños, crispy onion strings and none other than Alice Cooper’s own Poison Hot Sauce.

Safer options include the simply sweet Strawberry Fields Salad, complete with baby greens, strawberries, avocado, cucumbers, red onions, candied walnuts, feta and lemon pepper vinaigrette. And for a true afterparty of flavor, seek salvation with the divinely delicious Sweet Surrender Bread Pudding that comes with caramel sauce and house-made whipped cream.

Legendary Libations

Rock & Brews Grapevine continues the restaurant’s widely renowned bar scene with uniquely crafted “Rocktails”, an extensive collection of international and local craft beers, and an impressive selection of bourbons and other spirits that will leave you singing “we are the champions” before the night’s end.

The Smoked Bourbon Old Fashioned Rock & Roll is a visual and tasteful delight that promises an elegant presentation, smooth finish, and memorable Instagram-worthy experience. Other fan favorites include the Rockin and Texas Flood Margaria, Grapefruit Groove, Fade to Blackberry Smashed, and Blueberry Mule.

Rockin’ for a Cause

What makes the Rock & Brews brand so unique is not just the in-your-face rock ‘n’ roll attitude, the bangin’ bites, rowdy Rocktails, and electrifying live music, but that the restaurant pays tribute to the local community in various ways. To celebrate the ground-breaking development on Jan. 25, Grapevine Mayor William D. Tate christened the grounds by smashing a guitar in front of local business and service leaders, members of City Council, city officials, the Grapevine Chamber, and local nonprofit GRACE. Later, Rock & Brews Grapevine held a pre-opening charity event to benefit GRACE Grapevine on June 28 with most of the proceeds going to help the local nonprofit provide food, clothing, financial assistance and other vital necessities for those struggling with a limited income or recent emergency.

While the restaurant’s signature guitar out front salutes all those who rock, the Veteran’s memorial right outside their front doors salutes those who’ve sacrificed. On June 29, the restaurant unveiled the memorial to the local Combat Veterans Association as well as representatives from the Texas Veterans Network and local Marine for Life Network. The memorial, which pays homage, respect, and support to the American Forces that protect our freedom, showcases a painted brick flag flanked by an iron silhouette of boots, Kevlar, and rifle and a solemn quote that reads Our flag doesn’t fly because the wind moves it. It flies with the last breath of every fallen soldier who protected it.
