Inside the 2025 Two Step Inn Festival: Dancing, BBQ, and Country Vibes

If you’re a country music fan, the Two Step Inn Festival in Georgetown, Texas, is probably already on your radar and if it’s not, it should be. 

This year’s event, held April 5-6, 2025, at the beautiful San Gabriel Park, delivered big time. The festival once again proved why it’s earned the title of the world’s largest outdoor honky-tonk. Whether you were two-stepping under the stars or just soaking up the good vibes, it was a weekend to remember.

This year’s festival boasted an impressive roster of artists that catered to both traditional country fans and those with eclectic tastes. Saturday’s performances were headlined by the legendary Alan Jackson, marking his first and final appearance at Two Step Inn as part of his “Last Call: One More For The Road Tour.” Sharing the stage were Miranda Lambert, Flatland Cavalry, and rising country star Hudson Westbrook. Other notable acts included Gavin Adcock, Ernest, Eli Young Band, and Tracy Byrd.

Sunday kept the momentum going with Sturgill Simpson, performing under his alter ego Johnny Blue Skies, delivering tracks from his latest album, “Passage du Desir.” The day also featured performances by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ryan Bingham and the Texas Gentlemen, Nelly celebrating 25 years of “Country Grammar,” and Shane Smith & The Saints. The diverse lineup ensured that attendees experienced a rich tapestry of musical genres, all rooted in the spirit of country.

The festival grounds were thoughtfully organized, featuring three main stages, multiple dance floors, and numerous camera-ready spots for attendees to capture memories. The addition of various art installations and interactive experiences added layers of engagement beyond the musical performances.

Food and beverage options showcased Central Texas fare, with a mix of local vendors offering everything from classic barbecue to innovative fusion dishes. Craft beer enthusiasts and cocktail lovers found plenty to enjoy, with numerous bars and concessions strategically placed throughout the venue. ​

Whether you were two-stepping under the Texas sky, savoring local delicacies, or simply soaking in the vibrant atmosphere, the festival offered an experience that resonated with both the heart and soul. For those who missed it, mark your calendars for next year, Two Step Inn is a dance you don’t want to sit out.​
