Austin Blues Festival Returns for Two-Day Extravaganza at Moody Amphitheater

Get ready to immerse yourself in the soulful sounds of the blues as the Austin Blues Festival returns for its second year. 

The festival promises two days of remarkable music, delicious food and community camaraderie. Antone’s Nightclub and Waterloo Greenway will present this year’s festival at the iconic Moody Amphitheater in Waterloo Park on April 27-28.

On April 27, get ready for a day filled with soul-stirring performances by Jimmie Vaughan, Soul Man Sam, The Altons & Thee Sinseers, Dumpstaphunk, Blind Boys of Alabama with Bobby Rush and Nathan & the Zydeco Cha Chas. The following day promises another stellar lineup featuring Brittany Howard, Robert Glasper, Big Freedia, The James Hunter Six, Robert Finley and special guest Cimafunk.

Advance tickets for the Austin Blues Festival are now available. Single-day passes start at $80, two-day passes are $130 and up; VIP passes are also available. A portion of ticket proceeds will directly support the Waterloo Greenway’s mission to create and maintain vibrant green spaces and cultural events that enrich the Austin community.
