The headliner of the Luck Reunion 2022 is the legendary Texan, Willie Nelson. The soon-to-be-89 music icon is keeping busy, putting out new next, and entertaining generations of fans. On his birthday, April 29th, Nelson will release his new album “A Beautiful Life.” In support of his new album he will play shows in San Antonio, and Houston before sharing the stage with another Texas country music legend, George Strait. After those performances Willie will head to New Orleans, and take part in the annual New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival on May 8th.

Before Willie hits the road, this year’s day-long Luck festival will feature an eclectic line-up ranging from established stars to upcoming bands such as Allison Russell, Japanese Breakfast, and Weyes Blood. (Pro Tip: In 2021, Allison Russell’s album “Outside Child was nominated for three Grammy awards.)

The night before the Luck Reunion kicks off, Luck Presents the 2022 “Potluck: Too Many Cooks in the Kitchen.”  Enjoy a farm-to-table dinner from top chefs, with the proceeds going toward a good cause. This year’s foodie fest will include Wholesome Wave’s Chef Michel Nishan, a long-standing leader in the local, organic, sustainable food movement; Top Chef winner Bruce Kalman, now in Las Vegas with the renowned Soulbelly BBQ, and a stellar line up of chefs from local restaurants.

The Luck Reunion actually kicks off the Spring Concert series, which will continue on through the weekend. On Friday, Mar. 18, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will take the stage, followed by Austin’s own Shakey Graves on Saturday night. Then, later on April 29th Modest Mouse joins the Spring Concert series lineup.
