As soon as I submitted my SX60: Under the Radar piece, I immediately regretted not including the following bands. There’s just… So. Much. Music.  So, I asked for a bonus day to share a few more acts that I can’t wait to see live. Local Flavor

I also realized that my mild obsession with overseas bands, combined with taking for granted the constant musical access I have as an Austinite, resulted in a coverage gap. Incredible musicians are drawn to Austin for obvious reasons – and I’m lucky to see them play on a regular basis. However, not all SXSW attendees are local, and not all locals are plugged into the music scene. So, here are more than a few acts hailing from Central Texas. If you haven’t seen them, you should. And tell them I said hi.
