Make space Texas, ‘cause Australian band The Jungle Giants is coming!
Texans are in for electric performances this weekend when the visitors from down under make their triumphant return to Dallas (Club Dada, 2/15) and Austin (Stubb’s Indoors, 2/16). With Austin being the first U.S show to sell out, tickets are bound to go fast.
This four-piece has sold out tours across their home country with over 150 million streams to date and counting.
The Jungle Giants consists of vocalist/guitarist Sam Hales, lead guitarist Cesira Aitken, bassist Andrew Dooris and drummer Keelan Bijiker. Together they’ve completed two monumental sold out national tours and have released three LPs, Learn to Exist (2013), Speakerzoid (2015) and Quiet Ferocity (2017), the latter of which produced the ARIA-certified Platinum single “Feel The Way I Do” as well as three ARIA-certified Gold singles: “Used To Be In Love,” “Bad Dream” and “On Your Way Down.”
Their third album is entirely produced by Hales and quickly rose to the top of multiple Best of 2017 lists. The band’s previous single “Heavy Hearted” has been ARIA-certified Gold in Australia. Watch the video for “Heavy Hearted” here.
The band kicked off their tour in Boston on February 6th. Apart from Dallas and Austin, other upcoming tour stops include Denver, Seattle and San Francisco.
