As if we needed a reason to eat more bacon . . . now you can help to end childhood hunger while celebrating International Bacon Day.

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery is committed to “making our communities as strong as our coffee.” In honor of International Bacon Day on September 3, they are partnering with No Kid Hungry to help end childhood hunger by offering two over-the-top Bacon Day pancake specials.

Stop by Snooze now through September 7, order one of their Bacon Day pancake specials and 100 percent of the proceeds from these specials will go to No Kid Hungry whose mission is to end childhood hunger by ensuring that children across the country have reliable access to the food they need. The two specials are the Graceland Pancake and the Bacon and Eggs Pancake.

The Graceland Pancake is an Elvis-inspired delight that features buttermilk batter filled with fresh banana slices, topped with peanut butter cream, caramel sauce, whipped butter and lots of smoky chopped bacon. This decadent pancake would definitely be given a thumbs up by the King of Rock-n-Roll.

The Bacon and Eggs Pancake is a savory creation of buttermilk batter filled with chopped bacon and cheddar cheese and topped with a crispy sunny-side-up egg, more chopped bacon and maple black pepper syrup. This over-the-top pancake is sure to please the most hearty bacon and eggs appetite.

No visit to Snooze is complete without a flight of bacon. The Snooze Signature Bacon Flight is a great sampler platter to share with the table (but I won’t tell if you eat it all yourself). Each flight comes with one slice each of Snooze Signature Bacon, Bacon But Different (rubbed with brown sugar, cayenne, chili flakes and drizzled with house-made Snooze Sriracha maple syrup), Maple & Black Peppered Bacon, and two slices of Habanero Pork Belly.

Another Snooze favorite is the Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes. Dessert for breakfast? Yes, please! Buttermilk pancakes topped with strawberry coulis, strawberry mascarpone, strawberries and almond streusel; served with vanilla crème. This is part of their Summer Menu so be sure to order it while you can.

With 18 locations throughout Texas, and more coming soon, there is bound to be a Snooze near you. Stop by soon to enjoy these sizzling specials and help make your community stronger.
