The following favorite restaurants, bakeries and markets are now offering tasty delivery and curbside options, using stringent food prep processes, while we all practice social distancing. So, eat up and stay safe!
Pearl Brewery
Southerleigh: Your favorite cravings are available on their online menu for convenient curbside pickup in front of the fountain at Karnes and Pearl Pkwy or via DoorDash and GrubHub. Bonus: Receive a free bottle of champagne or 6-pack of beer with every Dinner For 2 purchased.They also have Family Meals for $42. Gulf Shrimp and Kielbasa Pasta, anyone?
Bakery Lorraine: Find the entire menu at their to-go window at Pearl. Call (210) 862-5582 to order, or walk up. Gift cards are also available. New items include take-and-bake cookie treats ($8 per dozen), with 100% of cookie sales going to Bakery Lorraine employees who need support at this time.
Bakery Lorraine family meals (feeds 4, $45) include Chicken Pot Pie, four green salads and lemon meringue pie. Meals for two include tomato soup and mini sourdough loaf for $15, or fresh egg pasta with bolognese sauce, caesar salad, bread and cheesecake for $25. For delivery, use Favor for all San Antonio locations, UberEats for Pearl and Medical Center locations, and ChowNow for Domain NORTHSIDE.
Pearl Farmers Market: The Farmers Market has been moved online. Create an account, place weekly orders online, and pick up at Pearl Fridays 3pm-7pm.
Cured: Order to-go via the restaurant and UberEats through 10pm. For curbside orders, call (210) 314-3929 and the restaurant will give you an ETA. Once you arrive at Pearl, drive behind the restaurant on Mueller St. and call to notify the staff of your arrival.
Botika: For curbside, call (210) 670-7684 for or order online from 11:30am-7:30pm. Delivery is also available, via Favor.
Boiler House: Order online for to-go orders to pick up or delivery via UberEats, Favor or DoorDash from 4pm-8pm, Monday-Sunday. If you prefer, place your order by calling (210) 354-4644.
La Gloria: Curbside is currently available! Call La Gloria with your order, pay over the phone (or let them know you will be paying with cash) and let them know when you’re outside. They will take the food straight to your car. Gift cards are also available by phone. Bonus: La Gloria is offering a daily grocery market with produce, milk, eggs, toilet paper and more.
Esquire Tavern
The full Esquire Tavern menu (plus beer) is currently available for delivery and curbside pick-up. Within a four-mile radius, call the restaurant at (210) 222-2521 to place your order for delivery. Outside the four-mile radius, they are offering curbside pickup on the southwest corner of St. Mary’s and Commerce, in front of the Drury Hotel.
Esquire is also bottling its crowd-favorite homemade ginger beer, which will be available to order via delivery apps and phone orders. Orders can be placed through Postmates, UberEats, DoorDash, GrubHub and Favor.
La Panaderia
Both online and phone ordering are now available for curbside pickup, with drive-up services coming for those that want to order in real time. La Panadería is also offering select pan dulce for order online or over the phone. Delivery is free for orders $20 and more to addresses within 3 miles of the Broadway location.
E-gift cards are available online. Bonus: If you buy a gift card valued $20 or more, use the promo code SUPPORTLOCALSA to receive a 20% discount on the cost of the card.
La Panaderia is also offering its Support Locals Basket for $25 which includes essential items like bread, eggs and more. (Contents subject to change). The baskets are available for curbside or delivery (depending on location).
EVO Entertainment
Schertz, Kyle and San Marcus locations of the popular movie theaters are placing their menus online for pick up or delivery so guests can still pick from a variety of chef-prepared dishes and dine in the comfort and safety of their own homes.
Bonus: At the Schertz location they’ve gone retro and painted the exterior wall of the building bright white so they can project onto it and have drive-in movies. The screenings are free and will be over in time for the 10pm Schertz curfew. They’re offering online ordering for car-side delivery, though they ask that guests let the servers get at least 10 feet away before opening their doors. Payment is card only to minimize risk.
COVER 3
Takeout service is on offer at all San Antonio locations, plus Austin and Round Rock, as well as at COVER 2. Call direct on (210) 479-9700 and receive 15% off pickup orders. Hours are 11am-7pm seven days a week. (Orders must be placed by 7pm for pickup by 8pm.) Curbside pickup is available, with delivery via Favor and DoorDash. New shareable Family Meal packages feed 4-6 and start at $45. Bonus: An extra $20 in credit will be added as a complimentary add-on to anyone who purchases $100 in gift cards.
To support its hourly employees, COVER 3 asks all patrons to consider making a donation to its new GoFundMe page, C3 Service Industry Relief Fund. 100% of its proceeds will be donated directly to and divided among staff, in addition to any tips from to-go orders placed in the coming weeks.
Pluckers
Pluckers is now offering both contactless delivery and curbside pickup at all locations. All orders must be placed online or through the Pluckers app (available for free download on iTunes and GooglePlay). There is a $30 minimum on all delivery orders.
As the popular wing bar is implementing these new dining options internally – without utilizing third party delivery companies — they are currently hiring delivery drivers.
Bonus: Pluckers is offering double points for Pluckers Club and Pluckers Club Lite members on all delivery and curbside pickup orders. The top 5 Pluckers Club Members who order the most often, starting now until dining rooms are reopened, will earn a $1,000 gift card to Pluckers.
