Austin has them and so does Dallas, and now Round Rock can sink its teeth into hopdoddy’s juicy burgers and crunchy French fries.  The grand opening happened on MLK Day and the line wrapped around the outside. If you’re familiar with Hopdoddy, you know that patrons stand in line to order, then sit and are brought their “heaven on a plate.” So start with a creamy milkshake—maybe oreo or red velvet, or Nutella chocolate pretzel!

Hopdoddy has perfected the gourmet burger. You can choose a Terlingua with chili, cheese, fritos, sassy sauce and the veggies- spicy! Or try my favorite, the Llano Poblano with bacon, pepper jack, poblanos and veggies. Don’t forget to add the fries: regular Kennebec fries, parmesan truffle fries or green chile queso fries. Mic drop! Don’t forget to pair your burger with one of the fantastic Texas beers on tap.

OK, let’s say you’re still sticky with your resolution and want to make a healthy choice. Try the baby kale salad with arugula, feta, roasted butternut squash, roasted corn, red onions, spiced pepitas and topped with a pomegranate vinaigrette. Eating healthy never tasted so good.

Hopdoddy has a partnership with Girl Scouts of America so you’ll be able to find young girl scouts selling cookies at the restaurant, and they will feature special Girl Scout Cookie milkshakes in Thin Mint or Tagalong! You’ll find Hopdoddy in front of Jack Allen’s Kitchen and next to Rudy’s on I-35 in north Round Rock.
