Jon Pardi/Midland/Runaway June play Stubb’s Friday, October 20, 2017 •  Show at 7:00 p.m. • Get Tickets Here

Jon Pardi’s current single “Heartache on the Dance Floor” is top 5-and-climbing on the Billboard Country Airplay charts and marks his fourth single to break the top 15 on Country Radio. His first No.1 hit, the platinum-selling “Head Over Boots” was followed by the three-week No. 1 smash “Dirt on My Boots.”  The ACM New Male Vocalist of the Year’s gold-certified album “California Sunrise” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and he was nominated for Breakthrough and Video of the Year categories at the 2017 CMT Music Awards.

The retro country music band Midland joins Pardi for the CMT on Tour gig at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater.  The band was formed just down in the road in Dripping Springs and developed their sound playing in venues around our great state.  Lead vocalist Mark Wystrach fronts Midland’s rich sound, rounded out by lead guitarist Jess Carson and bass player Cameron Duddy. Midland intentionally nods to the wild west with country music reminiscent of the 1970s and ’80s. Embodied in their lead single “Drinkin’ Problem,” Midland channel idols Dwight Yoakam and Willie Nelson, both legends who they’ve previously opened for on the road. Directed by Cameron, Midland is nominated for a CMT Music Award for Group Video of the Year. Watch the video here.

Runaway June has been lauded by Billboard as the “Next Hot Trend in Country Music” and likened to a ‘Dixie Chicks for a new generation.’ Runaway June’s organic three-part harmonies and ringing strings are sweeping the nation, leaving a mark on one infatuated audience after another with its “inescapable talent”. The BBR Music Group/ Wheelhouse Records act is comprised of the vocal stylings and musicianship of Naomi Cooke (lead vocals, guitar); Hannah Mulholland (vocals; mandolin) and Jennifer Wayne (vocals, guitar). With Runaway June’s debut single “Lipstick,” the trio made history becoming the first all-female trio in over a decade to earn a top 30 single on both the Mediabase Country chart and Billboard Country Airplay chart.

To see these three great bands on one stage for the “CMT On Tour Presents Jon Pardi’s Lucky Tonight Tour,” get your tickets for their Friday, October 20 performance at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater today.
