Fall is finally here! New releases and tours in Texas – we have some of the best of the month of November rounded up here for you in this month’s #TexasTunes.

 

#1 Echosmith

Multi-platinum alt-pop band Echosmith will be bringing their Fall headline tour to Austin, TX, on 11/3 at The Parish. The band kicked off a new era with their single “Hang Around” and also released a brand new, reimagined version of their triple-platinum hit “Cool Kids.” 

Multi-platinum alt-pop trio Echosmith’s stardom skyrocketed as they came of age together as both a family and a band. Siblings Sydney, Noah, and Graham Sierota cemented themselves as an inescapable presence in music and pop culture with their triple-platinum hit “Cool Kids” and their double-platinum single “Bright” as their full-length debut, Talking Dreams, went gold.

#2 Sara Kays

RIAA gold-certified singer-songwriter SARA KAYS is about to hit the road as special guest on MAX’s North American headline tour, stopping in Austin to play Empire on Wednesday, 11/9.

Following the release of her acclaimed 2021 Struck By Lightning EP, Sara shared her heart-wrenching single “When You Look At Me,” the highly-introspective “Math,” and recent single “Watching TV.” 

#3 Billy Strings & Terry Barber

On his 30th birthday, GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician Billy Strings announced Me/And/Dad, the first album he’s recorded with his father, Terry Barber, will be released Nov. 18 via Rounder Records. 

The product of a longtime dream, the record features new versions of fourteen bluegrass and country classics that the two have been playing together since Strings was a young child. Watch the official video for “Long Journey Home,” directed by Roger Pistole and Scott Mele, HERE

#4 Whitehall

Whitehall, an indie-rock band, is opening for Goo Goo Dolls on their fall tour. They will be at the ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin on Nov. 14, Tobin Center for the Performing Arts in San Antonio on Nov. 15 and The Buddy Hall Of Performing Arts & Sciences in Lubbock on Nov. 16. 

The band recently released “Rose,” the first single off their upcoming Enci Records label debut. Whitehall has released a pair of albums, along with their recent ‘Garden Song‘ EP, which was released earlier this year. Watch for more new music from the band to be dropped later this year.

#5 Faouzia

With over 775 global million streams to date, internationally acclaimed global pop songstress Faouzia will be headlining at Parish in Austin on Friday, November 4th. 

She’ll be performing recent hits like “RIP, Love,” “Minefields (feat. John Legend)” and the standout track “Anybody Else.” The performance is set to be an electrifying, memorable experience. 

Following her debut project CITIZENS,  Faouzia is hard at work to release her eagerly awaited debut album. With collaborations with Kelly Clarkson, David Guetta, and more, the Canadian-Moroccan artist has been praised by many global publications spanning from VOGUE, Harper’s Bazaar, Rolling Stone, and Billboard just to name a few. 

#5 beabadoobee

Alt-pop star beabadoobee just released her critically acclaimed album Beatopia and is bringing her North American tour to Austin, TX on 11/8 at Emo’s, with special guest and labelmates Lowertown. Her return to the U.S this Fall follows some big festival appearances such as Coachella, Gov Ball, Glastonbury and a tour with Halsey earlier this year. 

With more than 4.6 billion global streams, Beatopia has received major praise and glowing reviews, landing her on the covers of publications around the globe. NPR praised the album as “a blend of timelessness and immediacy” while Rolling Stone hoped Bea keeps making albums “as good as this one.” Beatopia features her latest single “10:36,” lead single “Talk,” and recent album tracks “Lovesong” and “See You Soon.”
