Where there is good football and the promise of entertaining nightlife, celebrities and VIPs will follow. Find out how to get glam just like the A-listers and where to go while you are looking pretty.

The first stop should be Trellis Spa at the Houstonian which offers everything you need to get ready for Super Bowl weekend from hair and makeup to massage and facials. The spa is situated on the Houstonian Hotel grounds which are so secluded and peaceful, that you might even forget you’re in Houston. Just in time for Super Bowl weekend festivities, Trellis Spa is unveiling their exclusive “Instant Glow” 25 minute facial.

“This is perfect for someone in a time crunch – they will get the effect of a full facial in only 25 minutes and Trellis Spa is the only place this treatment is available anywhere,” said Trellis Spa Director Renae Cassam.

I was able to get the “Instant Glow” facial and even though the treatment is quick, Trellis doesn’t skimp on the traditional facial amenities. Steam, hot towels and a rejuvenating shoulder and arm massage make the treatment just as relaxing as a typical facial. The results, however are amazing. I couldn’t believe how great my skin looked in such a short time – it truly was glowing.

“The three-step process exfoliates and then offers hydrating and lifting. It creates a great palette for makeup and your makeup will stay on throughout the night,” said Josanna Gaither, Director of Education and Aesthetics for Natura Bisse.

After getting prepped and pampered at Trellis Spa, you are ready for a night out on the town, then you’re ready to check out the biggest and the best Super Bowl parties that we’ve talked about. If those didn’t tickle your fancy, then The Four Season’s Bayou & Bottle is the place to start. Part of a multi-million dollar renovation, Bayou & Bottle not only boasts the longest bar in Houston, but also the first Topgolf Swing Suite. Yes, friends, you can now have a drink at the upscale bar and have a Topgolf experience all in one night. This just proves that everything really is bigger and better in Texas.

Sawyer Yards is also the place to be during the Super Bowl Festivities. The huge art campus at Houston’s Washington Avenue area will be home to Club Nomadic which will feature artists such as Taylor Swift, The Chainsmokers, Sam Hung, Bruno Mars and DJ Kahled throughout the weekend. The Big Texas Party will be right across the street at Silver Street Studios and will be celebrating Houston and Texas with beer, BBQ and bourbon.

Even the Houston Museum of Natural Science and Lakewood Church are getting in on the party action and hosting celebrity studded parties of their own. Families can get in on the action, as well. The NFL Experience at the George R. Brown Convention Center offers activities for the kids, food, autograph sessions with the players and even virtual reality experiences.

Chances are that if there is a specific entertainment venue that you frequent, you’ll find a Super Bowl event of some kind being hosted there. Between the food options, party venues and ways to get pampered – it looks like Houston will be putting its best foot forward as the host city of Super Bowl LI.
