Austinites need to get ready for the next new notable namesake in class, elegance and sophistication as The Domain prepares to welcome Raven + Lily to the list of already amazing shopping stops housed in the mini-city. In the busiest shopping area of Austin, The Domain – Raven + Lily’s new flagship store is located in Phase 3. The specific location of the new store is located on Rock Rose street, which has a collection of some of Austin’s favorite restaurants and stores.

Raven + Lily, is an ethical fashion and lifestyle brand that advocates at risk women through their artisan partnerships. Kirsten Dickerson founded Raven + Lily with the mission to empower women around the world, creating sustainable jobs and disrupting the mainstream fair trade market with modern, refined designs. Their second storefront is slated to open at The Domain Shopping Center’s Phase 3 in Austin (located at 11410 Century Oaks Terrace next to renowned chef Paul Qui’s new restaurant, Thai Kim) on the week of April 25th, and you can bet Texas Lifestyle Magazine will be there.

“I believe that the new flagship storefront for Raven + Lily will showcase the beauty of the full exclusive collection that represents the hard work of over 1500 women artisans globally.  My hope is that one is inspired when entering the store by both the beauty of the products as well as the beautiful stories of hope behind each design.”

Alongside working with renowned Austin Architect – Michael Hsu, the ethical lifestyle brand has thoughtfully crafted the space thinking through every detail in the store so that it is thoughtful and story-driven. Each dressing room mirror has engraved a small quote, “You are beautiful.” The message is to serve as a reminder to all to believe that about themselves as well as to reflect about the true meaning of beauty – tying back to the women artisans that Raven + Lily partners with across the globe. As you leave the storefront, an African Proverb is written above the Moroccan wood door that says, “When women move forward the world moves with them.” This quote being one of Kirsten’s favorites, she hopes that every person that visits Raven + Lily leaves with that inspirational note.
