This year’s theme, “Clara’s Dream,” pays homage to the Nutcracker Market’s namesake, creating a scene straight out of the beloved ballet.

Familiar favorites like the Texas Tamale Co., Susie’s South Forty Confections and Bear Creek Smokehouse return to the shopping extravaganza along with many merchants making their Nutcracker Market debut.

With over 260 vendors selling unique handcrafted items, Christmas and home decor, custom-made dolls, gourmet food, apparel, toys, candles and jewelry, shoppers can have their holiday checklists wrapped up by the end of the weekend.

Money raised from the 2018 Nutcracker Market helped approximately 246 students continue their dream of studying dance at the Houston Ballet Academy and brought 368 Houston-area schools and community centers free programming, performances and classes at Houston Ballet’s prestigious Center for Dance.
