In San Antonio, you’ll find a welcome change at Popmarte. Just head down to Pearl, and across the neighboring courtyard there’s a unique pop-up space that will put the joy back into your gifting, even with the holidays just around the corner.

From luxurious knitwear to handmade ceramics, statement jewelry, handbags, art and children’s teepees, Popmarte could make you into a very savvy shopper. Each week through December 23 it is transformed based on the look and feel of the brands participating for those six days.

The pop-up tempts with fur throws by M. Patmos, prints by Snake Hawk Press, cermics by Guten Co. and chic hats from Chictique.

With its well-curated collection of goods from local, regional and national designers, we’ve focused here on the San Antonio artisans. Time to start crossing gifts off your list, y’all! 

Richter Goods San Antonio transplant, and Mexico City native, Mario Guajardo takes customers measurements, shows them an array of fabrics to chose from and delivers a custom shirt or dress in about a week. Shirts are just $85.

Boyd’s Of Texas This San Antonio-based apothecary is passionate about craftsmanship and quality. Their natural fragrances are formulated drop by drop, oils are tested, mixed and poured in small batches. Bar soaps are painstakingly crafted, edged, and checked for quality.

Snake Hawk Press is a competitive creative factory founded by international contemporary artist and San Antonio native, Cruz Ortiz. Nestled in an old train station just south of downtown San Antonio, the studio produces Cruz’ signature style prints on vintage letterpress machines.

Dawson + Hellmann Evolving from a mutual love of sleeping, lounging and just plain hanging out, Dawson + Hellmann brings to Popmarte a luxurious and artistic bedding and loungewear collection. Friends since their teens, they’ve always been into fashion, decor and travel.

Lambillotte is an independent women’s wear collection of feminine dresses and separates designed by two sisters who love color and quirky prints.

Mission Mercantile All Mission Mercantile’s leather products are made for many lifetimes, designed to improve with age, accumulating distinction and character as future heirlooms worthy of being passed down for generations.

Guten Co. is a design workshop that produces simple products that work and last. Every porcelain and press-printed product is formed, printed and finished by owner and maker Sarah Sauer in her San Antonio studio.
