Austin

Whether you are wishing for some quality time with your Valentine or are wanting a Galentine weekend, Thompson Austin by Hyatt provides special Valentine’s Day menus for a luxurious Valentine’s Day weekend. 

Arriba Abajo Rooftop Cantina is offering an exclusive collection of Valentine’s Day specials with an exciting atmosphere that overlooks the Austin skyline. Arriba Abajo Rooftop Cantina on the fourth floor of Thompson Austin uses locally sourced ingredients to create culinary masterpieces like their romantic dinner for two Surf & Turf Love Fajita special. You can also try their specialty cocktails if you want something bubbly to go with dinner. Valentine’s Day reservations at Arriba Abajo Rooftop Cantina are available on Feb. 13-14.

If you would rather have a night out with the girls, The Royal Room, a seventies inspired cocktail lounge at the front of Thompson Austin, offers a special Galentine’s Day menu complemented with a subzero, house martini. Reservations are available for Friday, Feb. 13.

 

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa

For a cozy weekend, Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa offers several Valentine’s Day events and specials. If you and your loved one are in the mood for fine dining, Stories Ranch Kitchen is offering a four-course, prix-fixe Valentine’s Day menu using farm-to-table ingredients for $85. 

Take a more romantic getaway and celebrate with your significant other in a private cabana to watch the screening of The Notebook with a sparkling wine in-hand. The private cabana experiences are priced at $200 per cabana on Feb. 13-14 at 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. 

If you prefer to celebrate a Galentine’s weekend, Maude’s will host Besties and Ballcaps where you can use your creativity and individuality to customize a ballcap with five patches and a hat chain on Feb. 13 from 6-8 p.m. Reservations for these events can be made here

 

Horseshoe Bay Resort

This Valentine’s Day weekend marks Horseshoe Bay resort’s milestone 10th Annual Comedy Festival. Prepare to laugh while enjoying an intimate meal of craft cocktails, beer and wine, light food, and house-made pizza during the performance. 

The comedic line up includes Ryan Hamilton who appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show and Tammy Pescatelli with award-winning comedy special “Finding the Funny” on Amazon Prime.  Keith Alberstadt from an appearance on Saturday Night Live and Mason James who won Houston’s 2023 Funniest Person contest will also perform at the event.

 The Driskill

For a romantic dinner on Valentine’s Day, The Westin Riverwalk is offering a special prix-fixe dinner for two at Zocca in their main ballroom  at 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The dinner includes ancho-spiced scallops, smoked veal roulade, confit duck duo, and strawberry passion fruit dessert. The Westin Riverwalk also offers the Ring for Rosé package which includes a bottle of rosé and locally grown chocolate covered strawberries for overnight couples on Feb. 1-28. You can reserve your stay and Ring for Rosé package here.

If you are looking for a sophisticated Valentine’s day with your loved one, the Fairmont Dallas hotel offers a prix-fixe, five-course dinner experience created by the expertise of Executive Chef Adam Reson at The Pyramid Restaurant. For the Amuse-Bouche, the dinner starts with the appetizer of Kusshi oyster served on the half shell with caviar. The first course consists of a choice of amberjack, roasted heirloom beets or leafy endives. In between courses, lychee sorbet will be the intermezzo. Afterwards, guests have the choice of risotto, sea bass, duck or an 8 oz. prime fillet for their entree. Finally, guests eat the meringue-based pavlova served with honey-basil ice cream and topped with balsamic-glazed strawberries with honey-basil ice cream.
