When you visit The Cove at BearX, it is like a vacation in your own backyard.
The city of College Station is known for the home of Texas A&M University. With thousands of students coming in and out each year, summer is usually a quiet time for the city. For locals looking for something to do, The Cove at BearX is your answer.
Growing up in College Station, CEO Heath Phillips wanted to create somewhere that adults could go and just relax, while also creating a recreation center for the neighborhood. Alas, the Cove was established. With bungalows, cabanas, aqua couches, a 140” TV wall and a 700’ cable wake-boarding lake, the Cove has everything you need to feel like you are at a resort.
Equipped with a swim-up bar, the Cove has a lazy river for people to float and feel like they are on vacation in their own backyard. If you get hungry- do not worry. The pizza bar is some of the best food in College Station. Want dessert instead? The Cove also has boozy ice cream for those 21+.
While the Cove is for 18 year olds and up, Phillips wanted it to be a place where adults could come and relax, not like the typical pool parties you tend to see in a college town. Everyone who attends has a good attitude, and the security are labeled as “vibe protectors” to ensure everyone is being safe.
The Cove is a great place to go for birthday parties, girls days or even a date night. The bartenders are fast and friendly and will help you make your drink selections. The music that is played is something all ages will enjoy and helps set the good vibes of the resort. If you are looking for something to do this summer without having to travel too far, the Cove is your place.
Hours for The Cove are 2 pm – 8 pm Tuesday-Friday, noon – 10 pm Saturday and noon-8pm Sunday. Day passes for locals start at just $10 and seasonal passes $50/month with two guest passes. Be sure to have your ID ready for entry!
