It is said that small towns, with rolling hill views, provide serenity and an overwhelming feeling of peace. And if you’ve ever traveled to a town like Utopia, Texas with a population of just 227, you know just what they mean.

Utopia is located near another small town, Bandera, and sits in Uvalde County. Each of these locations are not home to many, but don’t let that stop you from visiting because you, like many others, will live up to the saying “y’all come back now, ya hear?”

One of the main attractions to the dream-like town of Utopia is the jaw-dropping Moon Dance Ranch. Located in the Hill Country, Moon Dance Ranch gives guests never-ending views of what some call “God’s Country.” And if you have traveled here—-or, when you’ve traveled here—-you will say the same.

Enjoy a stellar view from the over-sized pool, all while beating the Texas heat at Moon Dance Ranch.

This extensive vacation home is able to sleep up to 30 guests which can make  for a fun-filled trip with friends. Whether it’s for a bachelorette party or a reunion, there are definitely enough beds. After waking up to a colorful sunrise, you can find yourself sipping a cup of coffee on the extravagant, wrap-around porch. The best part about the porch? You’ll have a Hill Country view from any chair! Who knows, you just might see some exotic wildlife, such as white-tail deer and axis. And while you’re outside, you might as well take a dip in the over-sized swimming pool; another good spot to enjoy the view. Tip; if you’re ever here for 4th of July, don’t miss the firework show, it’s sure to be a bang (pun intended).

The location is ideal, not just because of the views. Not far from the ranch you’ll find Garner State Park, Lost Maples, and the Frio River. Spend the day visiting those sites, hiking, tubing, and exploring. And when you make it back to the ranch, stay outside by the fire pit to look at the starry sky because that is something you just don’t see in the city. If you’re at Moon Dance Ranch for a few days, you can practice your game on the putting green or play a quick game of washers with your pals. Other bonuses for your stay include a pool table, foosball, and ping pong tables.

City life can get a little stressful so, if you’re ever looking for an oasis, or an escape to paradise, head to Utopia, Texas. (yes, the name is perfect) and relax at Moon Dance Ranch.
