Home of Texas A&M University, the twin cities of Bryan-College Station almost always have an event going on. While there are many hotels in the area, The Stella makes you feel like home.

From the minute you arrive at the Stella hotel in Bryan, TX, you are treated as family rather than just a guest. The lobby features beautiful furniture and decorations that have a rustic vibe to them so you know you are in the great state of Texas.

To the left of the check-in desk, there is the hotel’s restaurant Campfire. With a full functioning bar and many tables both inside and out, guests do not have to worry about leaving the hotel for a good meal. Campfire is a farm to fork restaurant, and the street corn dip is a must for an appetizer. For dessert, the campfire smoked s’more is an entire experience in itself – you have to try it to see what it is all about. Not only is this an incredible dinner spot, but the brunch features some of the best mimosas in town.

Out behind Campfire, guests will find a huge green area for their children to play on. There are multiple seating options around the green so parents can relax while their children play. Not only is it fun for the kids, but there are cornhole boards the adults can take part in as well. Guests are welcome to order a drink from the bar while they relax outside and take in the beautiful sunset views College Station has to offer. In the winter, there are multiple heaters and fireplaces outside to keep guests warm.

The Stella has multiple room options available. For all the Aggie Football fans – there is a suite with an exceptional view of Kyle Field. While the suites are always nice to stay in, the normal double queen room is nice as well.

With this gorgeous view, guests will never want to leave. Photo courtesy Stella Hotel.

In the morning, make sure to head next door to the coffee shop POV. While this is a popular study place for students, it has some of the best coffee in town.

A hidden gem

Hershel’s is the hotel’s bourbon bar and has some of the best selections in the Brazos Valley. This spot is great for wedding receptions, and is one of the best parts of the hotel. Check the calendar for when there is live music and see what it is all about.
