In Texas, you go big or you go home. At the Post Oak Hotel in Uptown Houston, you can do both. With personal touches that make you feel like family and ultra-luxurious accommodations and experiences, it’s the perfect place to celebrate with your loved ones this season — whether H-Town is your home or just your home for the holidays.

The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston is the height of luxury yet has a welcoming vibe that makes guests feel instantly like family and at home, whether visiting for a special, celebratory brunch, enjoying a fun, quick getaway or settling in for a longer, restorative stay. Rated the #1 hotel in Houston by Travel + Leisure readers in 2025, the elevated 700,000 square-foot, 38-story property also holds a coveted Michelin Key and is the only hotel in Texas awarded a double Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star for its hotel and spa.

By the time you approach the immense, glass doors opening to the hotel’s grand atrium lobby, topped by a cascading Swarovski crystal chandelier and accented by works by renowned American artist Frank Stella, you’ve already been kindly greeted and invited in. The royal treatment isn’t just saved for actual royalty, dignitaries, sports stars and celebrities like Drake and Beyoncé, who famously frequent The Post Oak, but is extended to everyone – hotel guest or not. That warm service is a hallmark of Landry’s Entertainment titan, Houston Rockets owner and U.S. Ambassador to Italy Tilman J. Fertitta, who opened the hotel in 2018, now a much-beloved crowning jewel in the heart of Texas.
