Palm Springs has been a destination to escape to since the early 1900s, before evolving into today’s glamorous Hollywood retreat. In fact, Palm Springs and the greater area is unlike any other place in the world. It’s the convergence of past and present, and style and wellness is what keeps people coming back for more.

Located just outside of Palm Springs in prestigious Indian Wells, the Miramonte Resort & Spa is a secluded desert oasis with boutique-style sophistication. The newly reimagined resort is set against the Santa Rosa Mountains and is located on 11 acres of land surrounded by olive trees, citrus groves and fragrant flower gardens.

Distinctive Features

The recently updated Mediterranean estate has so many distinctive features. Choose to soak up some of that desert sun at one of the three swimming pools, book a facial or massage at the award-winning Well Spa, or unwind by the new Olive Grove Patio with six new fire pits, signature fire wall and bocce ball court. The patio is the perfect place to mix and mingle with your friends while you enjoy a cocktail from the Tavern Bar or finish up your workday by the fire pits while enjoying a glass of wine. It’s also the perfect place to watch the sunset and enjoy Mediterranean inspired dining at Citrus & Palm restaurant.

Spaaaah Time!

If you’re like me, it can’t be considered a relaxing vacation without booking a treatment at the spa. The Well Spa at the Miramonte Resort & Spa checks all the boxes. When you book a serene treatment at the spa, you get access to the amenities the spa has to offer all day long. If you book a treatment, start your morning by checking into the spa and taking a soak in the private outdoor jacuzzi and spa. Step into the steam room and showers before, between, or after your treatments.

Something for Everyone at this Spa

Whether you’re looking for a massage, facial, body treatment, or couples treatment, there is something for everyone at the Well Spa. I can’t pass up a massage, and when I’m visiting new spots, I tend to go for a treatment you don’t see everywhere. I went with the Raindrop Therapy massage, which incorporates different types of essential oils to induce deep relaxation, reduce mental fatigue, and features immune-boosting properties. The spa has something for every skin concern if you’re looking for a facial. I went with the classic facial, tailored to my exact skin needs. You’ll leave glowing, rejuvenated, and relaxed.

Activities

For all of you who need something a little less “relaxing,” don’t worry, the Miramonte Resort has so many fun activities for you to enjoy during your stay, plus there is so much to see in the Indian Wells and Palm Springs area — hello, Joshua Tree! If you’re a golfer, the Miramonte is located next to a championship golf course and offers benefits to its guests. Not a golfer? Enjoy morning yoga on the Wells Spa lawn, take a bike tour to the farmers market, and much more.
