The Kendall – Formerly known as Ye Kendall Inn, The Kendall is a historic hotel that offers a one-of-a-kind, luxury lodging experience in the heart of downtown Boerne. Peggy’s on the Green – The Kendall also hosts an onsite restaurant where guests can enjoy an elevated Southern dining experience with exquisite cuisine, a charming ambiance and attentive staff. Peggy’s on the Green serves Southern-inspired dishes made with locally sourced, fresh ingredients as well as a diverse selection of alcoholic beverages to pair with any meal. Although this restaurant offers an amazing brunch, you’ll definitely want to stop by during lunch or dinner if you’re a first time customer.

Start by ordering their pimento cheese appetizer plate, a well-loved dish among guests, which is served with a mouthwatering combo of roasted jalapenos, bacon, bread and butter pickles, celery and crackers. For those who love hearty seafood dishes, be sure to order their Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes or Shrimp and Grits as your main dish  – you won’t regret it. And for those who enjoy a high-quality steak, Peggy’s serves juicy filets, ribeyes and New York strips that are grilled to perfection. Then, end your meal on a sweet note with one of their decadent desserts – we highly recommend the Tiramisu Cheesecake.

The Dienger Trading Co. – Just a 3-minute walk from The Kendall, The Dienger Trading Co. is a favorite among locals and travelers to get brunch or pick up some freshly baked pastries and coffee. After you’re done eating, be sure to stop by their boutique where you can explore and shop beautifully curated items, including women’s clothing and accessories, home goods and decor, cosmetics and more.

Free Roam Brewing Company – Boerne is home to some of the best breweries in Texas. Free Roam Brewing Company is a great place to swing by after a day of adventure and indulge in premium quality lagers and ales made on-site. Although this brewpub doesn’t offer any food, there are food trucks located at their outdoor patio where customers can enjoy live music while eating. Tip: Check out Free Roam’s social media platforms to find out which food trucks and performing artists will be present on the day you visit.

Boerne Taco House – If you’re craving for authentic Tex-Mex cuisine, Boerne Taco House is a must-visit spot that’s popular among locals.
