National Hispanic Heritage month is celebrated September 15 to October 15, and although many think of it only as a time to drink margaritas and enjoy tacos, it is actually a month set aside to celebrate what the Latino community has contributed to United States culture.

We’ve done all the research for you and found 10 products that will make celebrating Hispanic Heritage month in Texas just a little bit sweeter and very Instagram-worthy.

Owner Patty Aguayo creates everything from traditional Mexican folk dolls to popular characters like Selena and Harry Potter. Texas Chingona

A “Chingona” is a strong, fierce woman and Texas Chingona’s shop blends ferocity with femininity. On their Instagram feed you’ll find every shade of pink combined with handwritten messages of female empowerment—all while evoking both Latina and Texas pride. We love the fun papel picado shirts, the Texas Chingona and the Chiflada shirts.

Stinkin Patches Co.

Michelle Griego’s embroidery hobby turned into a full-fledged shop in 2017 and now her embroidered iron-on patches are a favorite on both Instagram and Etsy. Your jean jacket and tote bag won’t be complete until you have her Dia de los Muertos Hello Kitty patch or her concha and taco patches.

Somar ATX

If we could, we would buy one of everything in Somar ATX’s shop. They have it all: irreverent t-shirts, accessories, baby onesies with cute sayings in both English and Spanish. If we had to pick one thing, it would be the Luchador Power Bank. It is a modern take on a Mexican classic—stop worrying about your phone dying and buy one!

Reina Rebelde

Bold colors with hues that match Latina skin tones, the line is not only rich and vibrant, but also has a hint of underlying fierceness. Soni Trends

Soni Trends is not only home to all the cute mugs, but also cool t-shirts and decals. We love her Frida-inspired “Viva la Vida” mug, but with so many to choose from you could walk away with any of them and look super sassy getting your morning coffee fix.

Miss Sol Creations

Flower crowns are the ultimate accessories no matter the season, and handmade crowns from Miss Sol Creations are a favorite of fashionistas all over Texas. Check her Instagram feed for styling tips and also to find where you can buy them at a pop-up near you.

Granimations by Gabby Ramirez

All of the illustrations by graphic artist Gabby Ramirez are unique and distinctly powerful, but her lovely Frida Khalo enamel pin is what caught our eye. Frida Khalo is the mother of everything Latina and enamel pins are trending right now, which makes this the perfect addition to any accessory collection.
