Where better for a Texas-rooted recording artist to return to the Lone Star State than John T. Floore’s Country Store, musical birthplace of Texas royalty, Willie Nelson?
That’s right, platinum-selling Jerrod Niemann is back on the road and back to Texas for his must-see concert tour, Jerrod Niemann: Tall boys and Short Stories! After nearly a decade as a major label artist, this prolific hitmaker, who started his career singing in honkey-tonks around the iconic Fort Worth Stockyards, is taking it back to his roots.
On July 26, Niemann headlines at the John T. Floore’s Country Store in Helotes, Texas. This 75-year-old quintessential Texas honky-tonk has hosted such music legends as Willie Nelson (John T. Floore and Wille Nelson were partners in the original Willie Nelson Music Company), Bob Wills, Ernest Tubb, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen and many many more.
Now Curb Records star Niemann offers a sincere nod to the legends who have gone before him while continuing to make his mark by creatively pushing boundaries. His latest song, “Old Glory,” was penned as a patriotic anthem and inspired by Niemann’s multiple USO Tours.
