Here are a trio of artists you should make sure to circle on your festival schedule:
The Mars Volta– Formed after the breakup of At the Drive In, The Mars Volta is a progressive rock band from El Paso who last year released their first album in ten years simply titled, “The Mars Volta.” Then in April the band released “Que Dios Te Maldiga Mi Corazón,” which is  a complete re-recording of their newly released “The Mars Volta.” The Mars Volta will play Friday on weekend one.

Tanya Tucker– This past April, the Country Music Hall of Fame announced three new inductees. Among that group was Texas’ own Tanya Tucker! This newly inducted Hall of Fame member and legendary queen of country will play both Saturdays.

Mt. Joy– This five-piece indie rock band hailing from Pennsylvania found success with their hit, “Silver Linings,” which reached number one on Billboards Triple A charts. Their new album, “Orange Blood” was released last year, and they will be on tour in the United States until the end of October, before starting the European leg of the tour. Mt. Joy will also play both Saturday nights during the festival.
