Bruno Major has been all the rage over these past years for his romantic and vulnerable lyrics with a soulful and alternative sound. Both his music and charming personality will continue to captivate audiences for years to come. After three and a half years, he has taken the stage once again in his Tour of The Planet 2023 World Tour. Major’s concert was such a delightful and emotional performance a few fans were brought to tears.

Born and raised in North Hampton, England, 34 year-old Bruno Major first took interest in music at 15 or 16 years old and has since made a name for himself. He made his official debut in 2017 with his album A Song for Every Moon

From that point on, Major has gone on to do a headline tour in the U.S. singing songs from said album. In 2018, he joined Sam Smith and embarked on his first arena tour in the U.S. and U.K. In that same year, Major made his very first TV appearance on the Late Late Show with James Corden and performed his song Easily. Later that year, Major not only performed at the Bonnaroo Music Festival (for the first time), but went on to do his first Asia Tour as well.

With that being said, Major has since released a new album, “Columbo” and kicked off his Tour of The Planet World 2023 world tour, which I had the pleasure of attending. I can confidently say that Major continues to leave a mark on listeners for his music depicts raw emotions with emotive heart-warming and heart-rending lyrics.

Bruno Major was born to be on stage. His amazing guitar skills and captivating, rich voice and his chemistry with the live band made me want to hear more. It is no surprise that he has gained such a dedicated following fan base and continues to gain more. By the time the concert was over, I had to listen to his music immediately when I got in the car.

During the concert, Major took his time interacting with his fans in many ways. Some fans took the liberty of making signs for Major to read in between his songs. One fan in particular made a pink, heart shaped sign that read, “I love you” amongst other sweet words. The fan was able to give the sign to Major and was even allowed to request a song. How cool is that!

Major also took the time to crack jokes and talk about his songwriting with fans before diving into a song, making it more special for the audience. At the end of the night, Majors urged fans to turn their flashlights on as he sang one of his final, famous songs Nothing.

Although Major has been turning heads for quite some time now for new fans, myself included, many discovered his music through the popular app TikTok. In 2022, his song Nothing rose to fame after being used on edits and going viral for his thoughtful, romantic lyrics. His song not only creates a beautiful image of a couple in love, but even pokes fun at the playfulness between them making them fall deeper.

Like many fans, and TikTokers, this is one of my favorite songs and hearing it live was a different experience. In fact, there were many moments during his performance that resonated with not just me, but the entire audience. I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say that hearing so many people sing along with an artist is bone-chilling and heart fluttering. Especially, with the help of the projections displayed on the walls of the hall during Major’s performance. These projections were able to make the music come to life.

Bruno Major’s tour will continue until the end of 2023 and roll over to 2024 overseas for fans who cannot make the U.S dates. Tickets are available on his website along with his newest album and merch.

With that being said, Bruno Major has come a long way from a young teen watching his father play guitar to rocking out at his own shows with his own love for music and playing the guitar. His music explores the best part of R&B with an alternative twist. Therefore, the sound and name he has created for himself is worth the listen for anyone who is looking for a new artist to add to their playlist and catch for a live show.
