For the first time ever “Shark Tank,” the critically acclaimed and multi-Emmy® Award-winning reality show, aired live on ABC on September 23rd, 2022. Texas Lifestyle Magazine landed Shark Tank mentor Mark Cuban, who lives in Dallas, as the cover celebrity for our Spring 2015 print issue, which you can read here.
In this age of entrepreneurship, we’re big “Shark Tank” fans here in Texas and we’ve featured several Texas companies that have been featured on the hit show, including: Austinite Kendra Scott who served as a shark, Houston inventors of UnBuckleMe, and the co-authors of Kid Start-Up.
Here are a few of our favorite Shark Tank Survivors, perfect for certain lucky folks on your holiday wish list.

One of the pleasures of publishing a lifestyle magazine like Texas Lifestyle Magazine is that we receive invitations to attend events, travel and review products. We accept and write about a small fraction of these offers, always with a view to what would be interesting or helpful to our readers. You may notice that our reviews are generally positive, which is because we don’t enjoy writing negative ones, and therefore choose only to write about the things we can recommend without reservation. Some we recommend, we receive an affiliate commission for at no additional cost to you. We’ve never received monetary compensation in exchange for a positive review.
