The NEXO Dallas Open is one of the most prestigious ATP Tour 500 men’s tournaments in the U.S.

This year’s event, held Feb. 7-15, featured matches with top tennis stars, as well as dozens of activations, including wine-bar popups sponsored by its Official Wine Partner DAOU Vineyards.

American Ben Shelton took this year’s championship title, defeating fellow American Taylor Fritz in the finals for singles. An intimate and electric experience, any seat in the house offers a nice view but purchasing a box seat allows for extra wine sampling, signature tennis-themed cocktails and a full buffet of light bites and snacks.

With a Fan Zone completely open to the public, the February 2026 official ATP event included dozens of activations and nine days of tournaments, all located at The Star in Frisco. Returning for the second year of a three-year partnership, California-based DAOU Vineyards held a large presence at the event, serving four of its most popular wines, each with its own unique flavor profile.

Formed in 1998 by brothers, Georges and Daniel Daou, their wine-making journey began in rural San Diego, where Daniel began making wine in a garage and tended to a one-acre vineyard of Cabernet Sauvignon. The brothers later bought property in mountainous Paso Robles, California. Today DAOU Vineyards sits on 212 acres at 2,200 feet high on what’s now known as DAOU Mountain. The unique calcareous clay limestone soil makes for a unique grape growing experience, particularly ideal for red wines and DAOU’s Bordeaux-style wines, which are normally produced solely in France.
