Along the windswept shoreline of Port Aransas, where dunes shift with the tides and the Gulf breeze sets the pace of daily life, Cinnamon Shore continues to redefine what a Texas beach getaway can be.

What began in 2007 as a thoughtfully planned coastal community has grown into a fully realized destination where design-forward homes, walkable amenities, and a true sense of neighborhood come together just steps from the sand.

Nearly two decades later, Cinnamon Shore is still expanding, refining its original vision while introducing new experiences across both Cinnamon Shore North and the newer Cinnamon Shore South.

A Community Designed for Coastal Living

At its core, Cinnamon Shore is built for connection—between families, generations, and the beach itself. Accommodations range from spacious cottages to multi-story luxury homes designed to host large groups without sacrificing comfort or style. Many properties feature open-concept living, breezy porches, and elevated coastal interiors that mirror the natural beauty just outside the door.

One standout, currently on the market, is the four-bedroom, five-bath residence called “Southern Belle”, a three-story home overlooking a tranquil pond in Cinnamon Shore North. With generous living spaces and a surprising hidden feature, a speakeasy-style “man cave” tucked behind a bookshelf on the top floor, this home captures the community’s signature blend of playful design and refined coastal living.

We loved the 3 stories with 4 bedrooms for the entire family to have plenty of room to spread out. We spent the majority of our time on the second floor in the large open kitchen and living space. Additionally, we loved spending time on the front and the back patios (coffee on the back patio in the morning and a glass of wine on the front patio in the evening!)

And, if you’re looking for a great home, it happens to be on the market: 206 Bent Grass Drive!

Amenities That Feel Like a Private Resort

Across both Cinnamon Shore North and South, amenities are designed to make every stay feel effortless. Guests can spend mornings at kid-friendly pools, afternoons biking through the neighborhood, and evenings gathered around beach bonfires with s’mores under a pastel Gulf sunset.

Recent additions continue to elevate the experience, especially in Cinnamon Shore South, where new features include the Sea Glass Pool, pickleball and basketball courts, an additional fitness center, Sundown Court, and the Cabana Pool (18+), located near Coastline Grill. The Heirloom Cottages, Villas, Glow Pool, dog park, and Neighbor Square further round out the growing footprint of thoughtfully designed spaces.

Dining, Shopping, and Staying Local

One of the defining features of Cinnamon Shore is how seamlessly it blends vacation living with everyday convenience. Guests can stay entirely on property and still enjoy a full culinary and retail experience.

Local favorites include Stout’s, Lisabella’s, Shore Café, Dylan’s Pizzeria, and the newly opened Saltwater Gypsies Market. Additional openings and upcoming concepts, like Tiki Jay’s, a Polynesian-inspired dining experience from Jason Stout, continue to expand the community’s food and beverage landscape.

This summer, Cinnamon Shore is set to host one of its most anticipated seasonal events: the Best in Texas Coastal Home Tour, taking place June 27-July 5. The tour will spotlight standout properties across the community, including the Gulf-front “Prince Charming” home at 120 Charming Lane, known for its panoramic views, private pool, and elevated architectural design.
