Looking for the perfect summer vacation that won’t break the bank and is close to home? The Marriott Marquis in Houston makes the perfect weekend getaway.

Prime Downtown Houston Hotel Location

Located right in the heart of downtown Houston, the Marriott Marquis is an easy drive from major cities such as Austin and Dallas, and an even quicker drive from Houston. With Daikin Park and the George R. Brown Convention Center located on either side of the hotel, you are in the middle of the action.

Biggio’s is conveniently located downstairs. Visitors can enjoy the array of TVs and watch the Houston Astros right across the street from where they play! If you come before a game, expect to see a sea of orange and blue.

Cueva and Xochi are two options for a nicer dinner. Also located downstairs, you don’t have to walk far for date night- or worry about a ride home!

Perhaps the best part of the hotel is the Texas shaped lazy river. Located on the sixth floor is the Altitude Rooftop. Here, guests can order drinks and food from High Dive, enjoy the scenic downtown views, relax on lounge chairs or float the lazy river.
