If you’re looking for a remote location to just escape the hustle and bustle of the United States, Sailrock South Caicos offers the most exquisite blend of total relaxation and a sprinkling of adventure.
This resort, which has been around for eight years, covers almost 70% of the island of South Caicos. Sailrock South Caicos is designed as a temporary escape, but also offers second home ownership opportunities.

A vacation at Sailrock South Caicos offers the opportunity to relax by your own villa pool or the Great House pool, experience a 75-minute massage in a cabana on a cliff overlooking the water, read on a beautiful beach, or head off for an exciting adventure.

Sailrock South Caicos sits at the epicenter of where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean, specifically Caicos Bank. A visit January through May might offer a viewing of humpback blue whales that are passing through. High season begins in November and goes through March, with peak season being around what they call festive season or what we refer to as the holidays in the US.
Be Our Guest

Breakfast is offered at the Great House restaurant each morning between 6:30 and 9:30. Order from the menu as you sit overlooking the turquoise pool. You might choose to start with the fruit plate, featuring pineapple and melons, followed by a breakfast burrito (don’t be afraid to ask for a protein of your choice).

Lunch is enjoyed at the Cove Restaurant & Beach Bar with a menu featuring fried conch (Cracked), seafood wraps (Rendi’s Crunchy Wrap), or burgers and sandwiches. You can’t beat the view! And because you’re on vacation, you can also enjoy a local I Soon Reach lager.

Dinner rotates between a Sunset and Bonfire dinner at the Cove Restaurant and Beach Bar or up at the Great House restaurant. I had one of the most delicious dinners of my life at the Great House: risotto with scallops, paired with the perfect pinot noir!

But for a special treat, we highly recommend reserving a personal chef for an in-villa dinner experience. That day, you will be offered a chance to pick your menu, which can include a bountiful display of seafood, such as tiger shrimp, fish, sides, such as mashed sweet potatoes and various salads. And, of course, you’ll be able to select wonderful wines to accompany the dinner. The staff will prepare your table with fresh linens prior to the chef arriving to cook in your villa and serve you either alfresco or inside (whichever you choose).
That Villa Life

Sailrock South Caicos covers over 700 acres and offers 38 different units. They refer to this as low density. Meaning, you’re not going to see another unit from your own. How’s that for peacefulness!

A feature that is highly recommended is to utilize the offering of having groceries stocked in your villa when you arrive. Prior to your arrival, they will send you a five-page list– front and back– for you to choose from, and your kitchen will be ready when you arrive.

The beachfront villas overlook Long Beach and feature simple interior design with the hero of the house being the patio surrounding your own private pool. You can find one, two, three and four bedroom options. The three bedroom villa runs about $2,600 per night.

Ridgetop villas also offer an ocean view. You can choose from two or three bedroom options and the top floor feels like a treehouse.

There are also accommodations called peninsula villas with a three night minimum and the deepest discounts are found with a minimum of a four night stay. Some of their promotional offers do include daily breakfast as well.

We were told that many of the owners first visited Sailrock South Caicos on a vacation and discovered the many benefits of ownership there on the exquisite property to include residency offered and no property taxes.
Get Busy on the Island

The Great House also features a lending library, a gym and a market. Enjoy complimentary yoga three days a week on the wooden platform overlooking the ocean. There are complimentary bikes to get around the expansive resort, also.

If you only do one excursion on the island, you should go over to Jerry Camp, and kayak to the sandbar where you can simply sit in the clear blue water with a cold beer and pass the time with your favorite people. It’s one of the most relaxing experiences, enjoying the nature and water surrounding South Caicos.

Other excursions will take you on a boating adventure through the beautiful waters to see the marine life and visit Long Cay (pronounced key), also called iguana island, enjoy snorkeling in the Caribbean waters or fishing if the weather is right.
Complimentary Cove Beach water experiences include kayaking and paddle boarding. You can also enjoy a Hobie Cat sailing lesson or a mixology class up at the Great House.
