Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go to space? Zero-G Corporation has now made it possible for everyday Americans to see what it feels like to enter a zero-gravity space environment.

Zero Gravity Corporation is a privately held space entertainment and tourism company whose mission is to make the excitement and adventure of space accessible to the public. The experience offered by ZERO-G is the only commercial opportunity on Earth for individuals to experience true “weightlessness” without going to space.

As seen on this season of The Bachelorette, G-Force 1 is now coming to Houston for anyone to get the first-hand experience of being in space. Allison Odyssey, Chief Operating Officer of Zero-G, says that it is a life changing experience, and if you are fascinated by space travel this is an accessible way to become an astronaut for the day.

Before you take off on your space adventure, there is a pre-flight orientation to get everyone on board flight suits and merchandise. You then break up into small groups with trained coaches in order to navigate the experience.

The flight itself is an hour and a half, with fifteen different zero-gravity parabolas. Guests fly out of Ellington Field, with the pre-flight being at Lone Star Flight Museum in Houston. From there, a bus will take you to the modified Boeing 727-200. The interior of G-FORCE ONE has been altered to allow for maximum floating space. The seats are located in the rear of the plane. The floating area is divided into sections and padded from floor to ceiling with one rope running down each side of the plane.

If you are nervous about the flight, don’t be. Allison says that it is an “unbelievable feeling, I wouldn’t compare it to anything. The flight is not jarring, it is very peaceful, quiet and slow. There are very few windows so you do not know what the plane is doing.” Zero-G has been operating the G-FORCE ONE for 18 years, and they have the same safety certifications as a plane.

So are you ready to be an astronaut for the day? Find all the information about upcoming flights on the Flight Schedule website.
